Project Description
Over 4,500 shop hours and 2,000
installation hours went into completing this
project. That is on top of the nearly 1,500
engineering hours spent on design drawings,
submittals, custom CNC programming, and production
drawings. The most challenging part
of the project was coordinating the millwork with
numerous interconnected trades. For example, the
main staircase integrated wood, drywall, glass,
specialty steel and stone. The millwork served as
the foundation of the piece and each trade worked
together closely from the beginning to ensure that
each element fit together seamlessly.

Designer's Narrative
“The millwork was an engineering masterpiece by Spooner’s. Lace and cherry wood were used to create a delicate contrast, both in color and pattern. Curves and angles were used extensively throughout the project to create a unique and special environment. The contemporary combination of the cherry and lace wood, with glass and metal create a warm, wonderful, intricate interior that sets Indian Wells apart from other golf resorts”
